  • Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 7-14 days or even longer depending on your skin condition. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.

 

After your hydrafacial

How to prepare?

  • Discontinue the use of any Isotretinoin products (such as Accutane) for 6-12 months before treatment - unless you have clearance by a clinician.

    Discontinue the use of topical Retin-A or generic tretinoin for at least 48 hours before and after treatment.

    Refrain from any type of exfoliating treatments such as glycolic acid or enzymes to the area for 48 hours before and after treatment.

    Refrain from any medium and/or deep chemical resurfacing treatments (peels) and laser treatments for 1 month before and after your HydraFacial treatment.

    Refrain from waxing and use of depilatories for 48 hours before and after treatment.

    Discontinue use of over-the-counter acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for 48 hours before and after treatment.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure, especially 48 – 72 hours after treatment.

    Wear daily sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater, rain or shine.

    Refrain from waxing, exfoliating treatments, or using acne medication for at least 48 hours before and after.

    No chemical peels or laser skin treatments for two weeks or as directed.

    Avoid hot tubs, saunas, intense exercise or showers for 24-48 hours.

    If possible, do not apply makeup for the remainder of the day after treatment.

    At home aftercare will be directed by Softglam Skin Specialist day of treatment during consultation.
